Red Winter, Part 1 of 6. In the beginning of this major storyline – that reaches its conclusion in #50 and changes the team forever – the Rocket Reds are on a murderous rampage, attacking former Soviet military sites, under the control of a mysterious mastermind. The JLE enters the battle and tries to stop the armored marauders. Written by Gerard Jones, with art and cover by Ron Randall and Randy Elliott.
