Toys for the Play of Ghosts; Shen confronts Warren about the dreams he has that are brought on by the Shadow; At the same time the Shadow takes its next victim, Cruz, and then that night fills Warren’s dreams with Cruz’s life; Shen and Warren meet again the following day and head to Shen’s home to discuss Warren’s dreams and his past; It’s this past and the inadvertent death of a little girl, Alice, that lead to the creation of the Shadow when Warren can’t deal with the guilt he feels due to his involvement in Alice’s death.
